Gillian L.J. Hertzer

My name is Gillian L. J. Hertzer. I graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in English with Honors, and a double minor in Career Writing and Native American Studies. I have enjoyed a solid editing base for that last 18 years, editing everything from term papers to novels to dissertations to power point presentations.

I have worked with clients around the globe in the fields of Architect Technology, Biomedical, Chemical, and Materials Engineering, Chemical and Materials Engineering, City and Regional Planning, Communication Studies, English and Comparative Literature, Global Commerce, Journalism and Mass Communication, Kinesiology, Occupational Therapy, Occupational Behavior, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Health, and Public Administration.

I have also, as the Senior Technical Writer for Modern Landscaping, Inc., produced a number of corporate media, including press releases, advertising, and in-house materials such as employee handbooks.

My work with the California Landscape Contractors Association has led to to some interesting editorial challenges, producing public relations materials and an industry newsletter.
